Course Description
This course covers all required information for Class B to A ELDT Theory training. Upon completion, SaferTraining will quickly submit your results and certification to the Training Provider Registry (TPR). You can then begin the second section (Behind-the-Wheel training) of the ELDT process with another provider.

Upon completion of this training, you will receive a certificate of completion for this training.
The ELDT training curriculum consists of theory training (taken either in-classroom or online), and a Behind-the-Wheel driving course (taken in-person through a separate provider). Driver-trainees must complete their theory training and earn a minimum overall score of 80 percent on the theory assessments before they can move on to their in-person driving course with another provider. This training course will introduce you to the commercial motor vehicle driver training curriculum as well as the basics of being a professional driver. This course does not provide you with a commercial license or endorsement at the conclusion. This course satisfies the requirement for the Theory portion of Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) which is required to gain a first-time CDL.
